CULINARY companies throughout Tunbridge Wells are set to celebrate September Food Month.
Backed by the business group Royal Tunbridge Wells Together, the first event on the calendar will be The Pantiles Harvest Food Festival, running from September 8-10, followed by a second festival at Calverley Grounds on the weekend of the 23rd.
Hospitality and food venues throughout the town will be organising special menus and events during the month, with further announcements to come.
Karen Pengelly, Royal Tunbridge Wells Together ‘s Town Centre Manager, said: “Tunbridge Wells has some superb food producers and restaurants. We are in the heart of The Garden of England, and September is a time of harvest and plenty.
“This is a perfect opportunity for local businesses to showcase their products and talents. “We hope that all our local food businesses will have a successful month and that residents and visitors will support local this September.”
