GRIN AND BEAR IT Charlotte Hawkins with daughter Ella Rose and Mister Magic, the teddy

The Good Morning Britain [GMB] regular visited Tunbridge Wells on Saturday [December 1] to get a shot of the shopping centre’s 3.5m teddy bear Mister Magic.

It is all part of campaign to raise money and awareness for ellenor, a charity which provides care and support for families facing terminal illness in Kent.

Charlotte, a GMB presenter on ITV since 2014, encouraged shoppers to take a picture with the teddy and then donate to ellenor – for who she is a patron.

“It is wonderful to see so many families and shoppers supporting the campaign,” said Charlotte, who was accompanied by her daughter Ella Rose.

“Taking care of a seriously ill child is one of the most demanding and difficult tasks a parent can face.

“Every day ellenor makes a difference to so many young lives and it is vital we help every family get the very best care and support.”

Last year the collection raised £3,000.

Charlotte has also taken part in Strictly Come Dancing, last year becoming the third celebrity to be eliminated.

Mister Magic is on display at the shopping centre until Christmas Eve.

The firm’s management has asked anyone passing through to help the appeal by tweeting #RVPTeddySelfie
