Kent Police said Gordon Farnes died on Tuesday [July 17]. The force was called to an address in Sherwood Road, Tunbridge Wells.
The family of Mr Farnes released a statement this morning [Thursday, July 19].

“We tragically lost an important member of our family who was loved dearly.
“Gordon Farnes was a loving, loyal, caring family person. Unfortunately he has been taken from us but will never be forgotten. He will always live on and be in our hearts.“
A photo of Mr Farnes was also released.
Gordon Locke, aged 28 and of no fixed address, was arrested and an investigation was launched by the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate.
