Commuters living at the new Knights Wood development in Tunbridge Wells can now enjoy an easier journey to work, thanks to the launch of a new shuttle bus service.
A joint initiative between developer Dandara and the charity Compaid, journeys from the development to High Brooms Station will cost as little as £1 each way for residents. Non-residents without an eligibility card can expect to pay £5 each way.
The daily service commences at 6am, running every 20 minutes until 7.40am. In the evening, pick-ups from High Brooms Station start at 6.00pm, running with the same frequency until 7.40pm.
Speaking about the new service, Susie Bennett, Dandara’s Sales Director for the South East, said:
“Knights Wood is a fantastic place to live if you commute to London for work but want to come home to peaceful woodland surroundings.
“We appreciate that commuting can be stressful at times, so we hope that the shuttle bus will help make the journey a little more agreeable for our residents.”
