The Tesco site that has been boarded up for over a decade in Southborough has been bought by Kent County Council, in the latest step towards delivering the Southborough Hub project.
The supermarket giant previously wanted to build a new store on the site, formerly the home of the Bell Inn, but have now sold it to the council.
