The Mead School in Tunbridge Wells gave a professional level performance in the ISA drama contests

ST LUKE’S Nursery in Tunbridge Wells hosted an Arts Festival at Skinners’ School exhibiting artwork by more than 250 children.

The event on June 10 showcased drawings, paintings and craft pieces from eight local early years settings including St Luke’s, Nivan Lodge Pre-school, Green Cave Day Nursery, Pennington Park Pre-school and Kinderversity in Brenchley.

There were also submissions from children in the care of local childminders Sally Herlin, Lynne Edwards and Karen Steer.

The exhibition was followed by a performance of the Pied Piper by the Norwich Puppet Theatre.

St Luke’s Headteacher Marley Westell, who organised the event, said: ‘The event had a fantastic turnout. It was wonderful to give so many local families the opportunity to see art created by their very talented children.’
