Cash, cigarettes and alcohol were taken in the incident, said to have happened in the early hours of Friday [November 23].
Kent Police were called at 4.27am and arrested a 20-year-old man close to the scene.
A search was carried out for a second man, who currently remains outstanding.
The force has now said the shop is Camden News.
