The town ranked 17th on a list published by The Royal Society for Public Health last week. Tonbridge did not feature in the top 20 or bottom 20.
Edinburgh topped the poll which gave points to facilities such as libraries, leisure centres and museums and deducted points for ‘unhealthy’ outlets such as fast food and betting shops.
Grimsby was found to be the least healthy of the towns and cities ranked.
