THE CHAIRMAN of the board of trustees at ellenor, Mo Tutty, has been named as a finalist in this year’s Kent Charity Awards.
He will compete against Hasmita Reardon from New Leaf Support, a domestic violence victims’ charity for the Trustee of the Year award.
Mr Tutty said he was ‘very proud to be nominated’, adding: “I have always been impressed and humbled by the dedication of our staff.
“I truly believe that the front line care services we provide are world class and deliver profoundly positive outcomes for both our patients and their families. I feel very privileged and honoured to be able to contribute in such a small way to this wonderful organisation.”
ellenor is a charity offering care and support to families facing terminal illness in Kent and South East London.
Mr Tutty has been a trustee for the last seven years, becoming chairman of the board in 2014. His own father was cared for by the organisation in the mid-1990s.
