Proposed plans for the Belvedere Estate have so far received public backing, according to information released by the developers. Altitude reported that 72 out of 90 people surveyed ‘agreed that the redevelopment would improve the appearance of the town’.
Initial ideas include street level shops, podium level cafés and restaurants, a boutique cinema, a medical centre and a range of apartments with dedicated parking.
