Tunbridge Wells Gateway, the drop-in centre for council services, will cut short its opening hours according to proposals put to the Tunbridge Wells Borough Council.
The radical overhaul would involve closing the Grosvenor Road centre on Saturdays and ending its Thursday evening provision.
Instead the Communities Advisory Cabinet Board will consider operating an appointments-only system for more complex issues and focus more on online assistance rather than face to face.
