Sue Reeves points to the name of Bertha Moran, her great aunt, who survived the sinking of the Titanic.
Mrs Reeves’ story was featured in the Times of Tunbridge Wells, after which she was invited to meet the Mayor, David Neve.
They attended the Titanic exhibition in Royal Victoria Place, Tunbridge Wells, with Mayor Neve presenting the shopping centre’s Manager, Nicky Blanchard, with a floral tribute to mark the occasion.
