Tunbridge Wells Pride is set to return this summer after a highly successful and popular first year with the Tunbridge Wells Forum once again hosting the event.
Over a thousand people turned out for the first march in August last year which saw a long, and colourful, procession of revellers snake their way from The George pub, along Mount Ephraim and through The Common to The Forum.
This year, the march will take place through the town centre, closing the road down to The Forum where the main event will take place on Saturday August 18 and the next day Pride will take over The Forum’s Sunday Sessions.
2017’s evening event at The Forum proved so popular that organiser Jazz Alexander said thatmany people had to be turned away as the venue was at maximum capacity.
Speaking to theknow, Ms Alexander said “Last year was amazing and such a good first year, it’s going to be bigger this year, later and over the whole weekend. I cannot wait to work with some of the amazing performers we’ve got booked.”
Ticket details and the official line-up for the event are still under wraps but make sure you watch this space.
