Robert Moseley and Melanie Williams from the Tunbridge Wells branch, Anna Blackwell from Paddock Wood, Sharon Hawkins from Tonbridge and Andrew Hollingsworth from Sevenoaks undertook a 13-mile hike in the Lake District, climbing Fairfield Horseshoe above Rydal Beck.
Members of all 71 firms affiliated to LawNet took on the same ramble, taking over a whole youth hostel over the weekend of April 12-14.
LawNet offers a network of more than 2,500 lawyers across the UK, sharing expertise, knowledge and best practice.
Sara Kennaugh, Berry & Lambert’s Senior Manager of Marketing and Business Development, said: “There are very few people in the area who haven’t been touched by what the Hospice in the Weald does.
“We ask staff from our five offices to put forward suggestions for the chosen charity and then vote on it. So many have experience of the hospice’s work.”
Hospice in the Weald in Pembury provides care free of charge to patients with a terminal illness, as well as support for their families and carers.
Emma Brooker added: “They are there 24 hours a day to help, support and care for patients with an illness where a cure is no longer possible, and for patients who will at some stage die from
their illness.
“But Hospice in the Weald is not just there for the end of someone’s life.
“They try to ensure anyone affected by a terminal illness, whether a patient, a family member or a carer, has the best possible quality of life.”
