Find out more about the rich history of Tunbridge Wells by participating in The Pantiles guided walking tour. Starting at 10.30am at the Tourist Information office in the Corn Exchange, it lasts one hour and takes in historic sites such as the Chalybeate Spring and King Charles the Martyr Church. A new exhibition entitled Theatre of War runs until May 28 at Trinity. The work by Kent artist Dawn Cole centres around the diaries, photographs and recipes her great aunt Clarice Spratling kept while she was a voluntary aid detachment nurse in France during the first world war.
A stellar cast including Cate Blanchett and Robert Redford star in the political film Truth which is showing at Trinity today at 11am, 2pm and 8pm. Centring around a US political scandal where TV channel CBS accused President George W Bush of having a questionable military background, it’s both powerful and gripping.
