The zero-packaging box contains a mix of eight seasonal organic veg that is delivered every week. It costs £15.35 and has been launched at the Zero Waste Company in The Pantiles.
The veg comes in a cardbard box, which is taken away and reused after delivery. Sally Beare, from Riverford Tunbridge Wells, said that the new zero-packaging box was aimed at people who wanted to cut out packaging altogether from their fruit and veg shopping.
She added: “The Zero Waste Company is doing the same thing as we are, but from a different direction, so it is the perfect place to launch our packaging-free veg.”
