The role involves sub-editing lengthy, semi-technical reports on aspects of the international construction equipment industry. These are written for Off-Highway Research’s clients by its research consultants, some of whom speak English as a second language.
The ideal candidate will have fast, accurate subbing skills, attention to detail and the ability to re-write passages where the sense is clear but the standard of English is lacking. Knowledge of the construction equipment industry would be an advantage, but is not essential.
Off-Highway Research is part of KHL Group, an international media company serving the global construction industry. The role is based at KHL’s UK head offices, near Tunbridge Wells.
