How did it all come about? The Green Duck event space and bar was born out of the original Green Duck Emporium in the heart of Grosvenor Road.
We now host over 150 events a year ranging from singalongs to 40th birthday parties and even christenings,
The Green Duck Events Space & Bar, Tunbridge Wells is a unique space available for private for any kind of event you would like to throw. We aim to be as flexible as possible to tailor your quote to match the specific needs of your event.
An event could be a special birthday party, christening, bookclub, engagement or even a work event with colleagues. We have indoor and outdoor seating and even our very own cave in our garden, yes you read that right a cave…..a truly unique space.
The Evens Space & Bar can be hired with or without catering, with a minimum booking of 4 hours. We have a well stocked bar and a late license and are just a 15 minute walk away from Tunbridge Wells Train Station.

Sister Mary’s Sunday Service
Rumoured to be the secret lovechild of Elaine Paige, Sister Mary McArthur is the ‘relentlessly funny’ nun destined for a life on the stage!
Described as ‘more painful than childbirth’, she’ll stop at nothing to share a good showtune with her congregation!
Sister Mary McArthur, the singing nun, is on her journey to celebrity stardom. She’s totally starstruck, seemingly innocent and full of life! Join her for quirky and personal interpretations of everything from West End hits to the Beatles. Accompanied by her long suffering pianist she’s performed everywhere from the Purcell Room, London’s South Bank to Don’t Tell Mama, New York.
Sister Mary was found on the steps of St Peter’s of the Sisters of the Third Removed, in the heart of London’s West End. She was wrapped in a copy of the Stage Newspaper within a handbag. It is rumoured she is the secret love child of West End Musical Theatre Star, Elaine Paige. Sister Mary loves showtunes and making homemade flapjack.
Join Sister Mary as she battles the blues with her unique comedy and variety. No pulpit. No psalms. No prayers. She’s not that kind of nun!
