HOLLYWOOD’s Ethan Hawke and Rose Byrne were on set in Broadstairs last week to film the adaptation of the 2009 Nick Hornby novel Juliet, Naked.
They joined Irish comic actor Chris O’Dowd, of the hit TV show the IT Crowd, for the shoot, which has now been completed.
The book, soon to be film, tells the story of Annie, the long-suffering girlfriend of obsessed music fan Duncan, and the object of his obsession, fictional singersongwriter
Tucker Crowe.
A release date for the film has yet to be announced.
Surrey-born Hornby has seen several of his novels adapted into well-known feature films, including Fever Pitch, High Fidelity and About a Boy.
