Tonbridge Lions Club is hosting a charity band concert in support of Hospice in the Weald and Children’s Liver Disease Foundation.
The event takes place at The Science Theatre at Salomons Estate, Southborough, and is performed by the East Peckham Silver Band and L’Harmonie Municipale de Chéreng Band from France.
East Peckham twinned with Chéreng in June 2012. Chéreng lies about ten minutes from Lille, in the countryside of the Nor de Pas de Calais. Since the twinning, the bands have performed joint concerts in both towns.
The charity band concert, which will be attended by the Mayor of Tonbridge, is a ticket-only event and will take place on Saturday October 29 at 7.30pm. A licensed bar will open at 6.30pm. Tickets are £10, available at 07885 644373 or email kjjbunyon@aol.com
